Karl Fischer method

 For determination of the moisture content of dehydrated foods. Water is extracted from the sample into anhydrous methanol, then titrated against the Karl Fischer reagent (sulphur dioxide, pyridine and iodine in anhydrous methanol) with electrometric determination of the end-point.
