What We Collect

123 Food Science collects the minimum data needed to run this site.

Email addresses. If you sign up for the Monthly Science Roundup, we store your email address. We use it only to send you the newsletter. We don’t sell it, share it, or use it for anything else. You can unsubscribe at any time by replying to any email or contacting us.

Analytics data. We may use privacy-focused analytics (such as Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand which pages are visited and how people find the site. These tools don’t use cookies, don’t collect personal information, and don’t track individual users across sites.

Feedback responses. If you use the “Was this page helpful?” feature, your response is anonymous. We don’t connect it to your identity.

What We Don’t Collect

We don’t use tracking cookies. We don’t run retargeting ads. We don’t collect your name, location, or browsing history. We don’t share data with third-party advertisers.

Cookies

This site does not set first-party cookies. If you visit through a link from another site, that site may set its own cookies before you arrive here. We have no control over that.

Third-Party Services

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) as part of its hosting service. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for details.

External links on this site (such as links to PubMed, FDA, or USDA) take you to other websites with their own privacy policies. We have no control over those sites.

Children’s Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

If you want your email address removed from our newsletter list, email us or reply to any newsletter with “unsubscribe.” We’ll remove it within 48 hours.

If you’re in the EU, California, or another jurisdiction with data protection laws, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal data we hold about you.
